JM Proposal Example - Full Of Information
1) Install critical barriers/engineering controls to islolate work area interior and exterior-type site control, cones, barriers, signage, caution tape, ground drops, etc.
This procedure ensures that the rest of the structure, for example a high-end home undergoing a remodel with the family still living in it, stays completely free of dust and debris while our workers carefully remove the selected items. Not only do we remove the debris inside of the containment, we also package all of the waste in 6-millimeter poly bags before the debris leaves the containment. Furthermore, outside of the containment, our employees realize the importance of keeping the job site clean. We don’t leave nails or other debris scattered around, our trucks don’t leak oil, and take every precaution not to ruin lawns, brush, gardens, trees, masonary, etc. during demolition. The rest of the house stays as it was, mishaps are virtually removed, and your customers are delighted.
2) Install Hepa filtered negative air machines using flex tube venting; achieve negative air and run throughout project.
Using Hepa (High Efficiency Particulate Air) machines, also called negative air machines, is a critical procedure in keeping dust and debris from leaving the work area containment and contaminating other parts of the job site with dust allergens and other airborne debris. When we achieve negative air pressure inside the containment, the air pressure outside of the containment is greater than the air pressure inside of the containment, making it nearly impossible for contaminants to exit the work area. Its another reason why our 10-plus years in environmental abatement will help your jobs go smoother and exceed your customers expectations.
3) Use trained and well-certified employees as needed to complete project in a timely manner, implementing worker protection procedures (goggles, hard hats, gloves, etc. - included)
We always make sure that our employees have the right equipment to get the job done, and that includes the proper safety items to protect them in case of an accident. Hard hats, goggles, gloves, and if needed, respirators and suits, are standard for all employees on the job.
4) Selective Demolition: toilet, vanity, counter top (ceramic tile), tub surround (ceramic tile), doors and casings, molding, trim, fixtures - plumbing and electric.
Our employees have the experience to surgically remove only what you and the customer want removed, hence the name selective demolition. And, being that we have a general contractor’s license (B), our supervisors are trained in actually building the structure, and therefore know the best way to remove parts of the structure, making your job easier when its time to rebuild.
5) Lay out and remove complete sheetrock ceiling and walls in second floor bathroom, to include associated insulation and nail detail.
We use a snap line when we are removing partial sheetrock, so you have a clean edge to work with. Also, we remove each nail so you don’t have to.
6) Remove carpet and pad from stairwell and complete second floor.
We cut, roll, and bag the carpet in the containment before it is removed. This way, the rest of the job site stays clean and free of debris.
7) Remove stucco siding, three separate elevations, per job site visit with contractor (includes necessary fascia removal); leave wire tie-in.
We understand how you want a demolition job to be left by us. When removing stucco, we leave you the proper felt paper and wire tie-ins, with a saw-tooth edge, to make your job easier when rebuilding. We will save you time and money because we understand what you need to rebuild.
8) Package all waste in 6 mil poly bags prior to leaving negative pressure containment.
All of the waste that is created during demolition is first packaged before it even leaves the containment. This way, we ensure that no dust or particulate leaves the work area to contaminate another area of the site. Also, we limit the amount of safety hazards that can be caused when loose material is carried or dragged from the work area to a dumpster: nails or screws, splintered wood, glass or porcelain shards, etc. This is especially important in a situation where your customer is staying on site while the work is being performed. Your liability is significally reduced and the overall job service appeal is greatly enhanced.
9) Hepa vac all vertical and horizontal surfaces throughout work areas.
Each flat and vertical surface left within a containment is vacuumed and hand wiped to ensure a perfectly clean environment, completely ready for your to start rebuilding. Every nail has been removed, every scrap cleaned up, and every bit of dust and debris are gone.
10) Waste disposal fee included.
Our waste disposal fees are always included as part of the job, no matter how many trips we make to any type of landfill or facility. |
